Jo Young-il, chief of the Dongbu Police Station, stated, "With the increase in crimes motivated by abnormal reasons and relational crimes, the importance of police safety measures for crime victims is growing, and public expectations are also rising."
He added, "We urge the related departments to make active efforts to ensure that victims do not suffer secondary damage through prompt and accurate risk assessments."
