Seodaemun-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seongheon) is hosting the "11th Seodaemun Youth Career Expo ? Dream Z Land" on the 22nd at Seodaemun Independence Park and Seodaemun Prison History Museum, in collaboration with the Seodaemun Career Experience Support Center.
The district has created a career theme park based on 85 occupations to allow over 2,200 youths to envision their dreams and future. This event, which helps young people explore and plan their careers, is benchmarked annually by many local governments and organizations.
Especially this year, a "Specialized Zone for New Industries and the 4th Industrial Revolution" will be operated based on Generation Z trends. Visitors can experience VR sports, LEGO coding, kiosk app development, and more in this zone.
Additionally, startups affiliated with campus towns from Yonsei University, Korea University, and Hongik University will gather in one place to introduce their startup stories and items, followed by a Q&A session.
Mayor Lee Seongheon said, "I hope this expo will help youths explore careers suited to their aptitudes and prepare for the future, and we will continue to provide more diverse career education opportunities."
