Stop the Backdoor Advertising Controversy... Naver Adds 'Naedonnaesan Certification' to Blogs

Naver added the 'Naver Blog Naedonnaesan' feature to the Blog Smart Editor on the 20th. This is to enhance the credibility of blog creators and the satisfaction of search users.

Blog creators can link their purchase history through Naver Pay, and visit records through Naver orders and reservations to verify that they have actually used the products or services before writing posts. Search users can refer to these posts for purchase decisions and visit plans without concerns about fake reviews or covert advertisements.

Stop the Backdoor Advertising Controversy... Naver Adds 'Naedonnaesan Certification' to Blogs

Currently, the Naedonnaesan feature is available on PC. It will be gradually applied to mobile as well. Users can click the Naedonnaesan icon located at the top of the Blog Smart Editor and publish posts by attaching visit or purchase confirmation records within the past year. Posts with verified information will display a banner at the top stating "This post includes a Naedonnaesan review" along with a collection of verification details. Shopping histories from Smart Store, On-Demand Pay, Blog Market, Naver Shopping, and visit histories from Naver Reservations and Naver Orders can be linked. In the future, the plan is to expand verification by linking receipt and card statement information.

Kim Boyeon, Naver Blog Leader, said, "As content competition intensifies, we launched the Naedonnaesan feature to meet the needs of creators who want to verify their real experiences and communicate more sincerely with neighbors. We will support blog users’ genuine reviews to stand out more across various Naver domains such as Search, Shopping, and Places."
