The support for the flood damage in Libya will amount to $500,000 (approximately 600 million KRW) and will be provided through organizations such as the Libyan Red Crescent.

Daewoo E&C plans to deliver residential containers, which are the most needed items locally, to Derna and provide necessary relief supplies. Additionally, the company has been requested by the city of Benghazi, which suffered flood damage from the typhoon, for technical support to rebuild the city’s pump stations in preparation for the upcoming rainy season, and Daewoo E&C will actively cooperate. Large pumps necessary for the recovery of the flooded areas in Benghazi will also be supported.

A Daewoo E&C official stated, “Libya has been a significant part of Daewoo E&C’s history for a long time, and we hope that the recovery from the damage can be achieved as soon as possible.”
