Number One 25 Times Since 1995
Asiana Airlines announced on the 21st that it has achieved first place in the aviation sector for 9 consecutive years in the ‘2023 Korea Customer Satisfaction Index (KCSI)’. Since the customer satisfaction survey for the aviation sector began in 1995, it has ranked first 25 times out of 28 evaluations.
In this survey, the company received excellent evaluations from customers due to its expansion of international flights to meet the increasing travel demand following the transition to the COVID-19 endemic, travel psychology recovery campaigns, partnership events with various industries such as hotels, finance, and shopping, and the development of recycled products.
The KCSI, organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting, is a comprehensive index that indicates customer satisfaction with products and services in various domestic industries. This year’s aviation sector customer satisfaction survey was conducted on adults aged 18 to 65 who had flown on an aircraft within the past year. The survey was conducted through household visit interviews over approximately four months from April 1 to August 6.
Asiana Airlines plans to continue efforts to satisfy customers through steady expansion of passenger route networks, ongoing crew training for safe flights, strengthening eco-friendly ESG management, and enhancing fleet competitiveness by introducing next-generation aircraft.
Won Yu-seok, CEO of Asiana Airlines, said, “We thank our customers for choosing us as the best airline for 9 consecutive years,” and added, “We will repay the trust and support our customers have given to Asiana Airlines with even better service.”
