Gyeonggi-do Launches Travel Support for Severely Disabled Individuals Gyeonggi Provincial Government

Gyeonggi Province is launching a travel support program for people with severe disabilities.


Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi-do Disabled Welfare Comprehensive Support Center (Nulim Center) announced on the 21st that they will recruit 22 participants on a first-come, first-served basis for the "Travel Support for People with Severe Disabilities and Their Guardians" program until October 4.


The trip will take place on October 7 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Participants will board the Ondongne Gyeonggi Tour Bus, a travel support bus for people with disabilities, at the Nulim Center, visit Suwon Yeongheung Arboretum, and then attend the "Everyone's Concert with People with Disabilities" held at the Gyeonggi Arts Center.


The recruitment targets are people with severe disabilities and their guardians residing in Gyeonggi Province, and participation is free of charge. Those interested can find program information on the Gyeonggi Disabled Family Support Center website (ggdf.co.kr).


Choi Yong-hoon, Director of the Tourism Industry Division of Gyeonggi Province, said, "This is a special opportunity for people with severe disabilities and their guardians to enjoy tourism and arts culture together, creating precious memories. We will continue to plan various travel programs for people with disabilities and their guardians to foster an environment where everyone, including people with disabilities, can equally enjoy tourism."
