Sales at duty-free shops and others starting from the 25th
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 20th that it has released a block toy called ‘Incheon Airport Brick,’ created in collaboration with Kakao Friends.
This product is the first block toy launched by Incheon Airport. It features Kakao Friends characters ‘Chunsik’ and ‘Con’ with the theme of going on an overseas trip from Incheon Airport. It replicates major facilities that can actually be seen at Incheon Airport, such as the control tower, boarding gates, aircraft, and security checkpoints.
The product will be officially released from the 25th and will be available for purchase at Incheon Airport duty-free shops at all times. It will be sold at the toy store in Hyundai Department Store Duty-Free on the 3rd floor of Terminal 1 (near Gate 42) and at the Shinsegae Duty-Free store on the 3rd floor of Terminal 2 (near Gate 248). To commemorate the launch, a limited quantity will also be available for purchase at the official Kakao Friends online store.
The corporation will also hold a ‘Build the ICN’ event at the Sky Garden in Incheon Airport from the 23rd to the 24th, where about 600 people will participate through pre-registration and on-site attendance to experience the product first.
Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said, “As many people have shown interest in Incheon Airport due to the recent increase in air travel demand, we launched this brick product to approach passengers in a more friendly way,” adding, “We plan to expand various online and offline activities to communicate with passengers in the future.”
