Genesis BBQ Group announced on the 20th that it has donated 50 million KRW in encouragement funds to the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee to support the success of the South Korean delegation participating in the 19th Hangzhou Asian Games.

On the 19th, Yoon Hong-geun, Chairman of BBQ, delivered the encouragement funds to Lee Ki-heung, President of the Korean Sport & Olympic Committee, at the Olympic Culture Center in Songpa-gu, Seoul, saying, "I still vividly remember the sweat and tears shed by the national athletes during the Beijing Winter Olympics," and added, "We will cheer for the athletes participating in this Hangzhou Asian Games to fully demonstrate their efforts so far and have a competition without regrets."
Meanwhile, BBQ, as the chairman company of the Korea Skating Union, has supported skating athletes as well as athletes participating in various international competitions, including the Winter Olympics and the Deaflympics.
