Woo Byung-hyun, CEO of Asia Economy, said on the 20th at the 'Good Brain 2023 Conference' held at The Westin Chosun Seoul, "It is a forum for discussion and communication to overcome dementia, the enemy of a super-aged society," and pledged to actively promote the Harumanbo Harucheonja (Hamanhacheon) exercise until dementia is overcome.

CEO Woo said, "As the era of super-aging approaches, dementia is the most feared disease," adding, "With advanced research underway, there is good news regarding the identification of causes, early diagnosis, and development of treatments for dementia." He continued, "The lectures by experts researching brain health and dementia will address questions about how to prevent dementia, how to prepare for a healthy old age, and whether dementia is treatable."

Asia Economy has also launched a nationwide brain health project since the beginning of the year. As part of this, the Harumanbo Harucheonja exercise, abbreviated as Hamanhacheon, has been promoted. The Hamanhacheon exercise is a brain health training method that anyone can easily practice at home or work.

Based on participation and support from various sectors, the Hamanhacheon National Movement Headquarters was inaugurated on June 15 at Namsangol Hanok Village in Seoul. The headquarters includes participation from the government, local governments, medical community, and walking exercise civic groups, all resolved to spread the habit of walking and writing exercises nationwide.

CEO Woo stated, "Asia Economy will widely promote national movements like Hamanhacheon that can prevent dementia until a Korean-style path to overcoming dementia is opened," adding, "We will continue to provide a platform to widely share issues and achievements in academia and related pharmaceutical, bio, and DTx industries. Furthermore, we will cover policy issues from the government and local governments to contribute in finding reasonable solutions."
