Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award - Brand Category
Hyundai Engineering & Construction has been selected for the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Award in the brand category of the '2023 Asia Construction Awards.' The company received high marks for contributing to improving the living environment and quality of life for the public by launching apartment brands such as Hillstate (2006) and The H (2015).
In particular, Hillstate has continuously provided innovative technologies and specialized designs in residential spaces, satisfying residents' satisfaction, achieving the distinction of ranking first in brand reputation index for 53 consecutive months as of August this year.
Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to continue the Hillstate brand reputation through ‘Hillstate Gwanak Cent Ciel,’ launched in Gwanak-gu, Seoul. This complex is a housing redevelopment project in Bongcheon-dong, Gwanak-gu, Seoul, Zone 4-1-2, consisting of 9 buildings from 3 basement floors to 28 above-ground floors, with a total of 997 households.
Among them, 101 units with exclusive areas of 58 to 59㎡ will be available for general sale. By exclusive area, there are ▲58㎡A 2 units ▲58㎡B 17 units ▲59㎡A 1 unit ▲59㎡B 43 units ▲59㎡C 38 units.
Hillstate Gwanak Cent Ciel is the first apartment complex Hyundai Engineering & Construction has sold in Gwanak-gu in 23 years since 1999. Accordingly, Hyundai Engineering & Construction plans to apply excellent products befitting the ‘Hillstate’ brand complex.
Of the total five types, four are designed with a slab-type structure allowing cross ventilation. For the 59㎡B exclusive area, a storage-enhanced option (paid) is offered, adding storage spaces in the kitchen and bedroom 3. The 59㎡C exclusive area features a tower-type structure with separate spaces for the couple and children, and the living room is designed with two open sides. Community facilities include a fitness center, golf practice range, sauna, small library, Hill’s Lounge (cafe), and kids’ playroom.
Within a 1.2 km radius of the complex are Bongcheon Station on Subway Line 2 and Soongsil University Station on Line 7. Using these lines, it is possible to reach Gangnam Station and Nonhyeon Station within 20 minutes without transfers. The opening of the Seobu Line light rail, accessible by foot, is also planned. This line runs from Saejeol Station (Line 6) to Yeouido to Seoul National University Station (Line 2), with a total length of 15.8 km. On the 23rd of last month, the ‘Seobu Line Urban Railway Private Investment Project Implementation Agreement (Draft)’ administrative notice was completed, and the implementation contract is expected to be signed within this year. The scheduled completion is in 2029.
Currently, redevelopment projects are actively underway in the Bongcheon-dong area, raising expectations for improved residential environments. According to Gwanak-gu Office, the Bongcheon Zone 4-1-3 housing redevelopment project (855 households) is planned near the complex, and including already occupied complexes such as Gwanak Dream Town (3,544 households), Gwanak Byeoksan Blooming 1~3 (3,388 households), and Gwanak Dongbu Centreville (487 households), approximately 9,000 households will form a new residential town.
It also boasts an excellent educational environment. In addition to a daycare center within the complex, Guam Elementary School, Guam Middle School, and Guam High School are located within a 500m radius, enabling safe commuting for students.
