Busan Gijang-gun will hold the ‘KBS National Singing Contest (Gijang-gun Edition)’ at 2 PM on October 9th at Jeonggwan Central Park.
The participants are targeted to be residents of Gijang-gun, workers and students located in Gijang-gun, making it a harmonious event where local residents can showcase their diverse talents.
Applications are accepted until September 22nd at the administrative welfare centers of the local towns and townships. The preliminary round will be held on October 4th from 1 PM at the Gijang-gun Office Chaseong Art Hall, and on-site registration on the day of the preliminary round is also possible.
On the day of the final recording, invited singers Seol Woon-do, Kim Yeon-ja, Seo Moon-tak, Lee Hye-ri, and Bae Geum-sung will perform, adding enjoyment to the audience.
A Gijang-gun official stated, “The KBS National Singing Contest (Gijang-gun Edition) will provide an opportunity for residents, who have been exhausted by COVID-19, to recover their daily lives and enjoy culture,” adding, “As this is a chance to promote Gijang-gun nationwide, we ask for the residents’ great interest and participation.”
