Emission Control Standard Co., Ltd. (CEO: Ko Jung-hwan), which began selling electrolysis odor reduction equipment from the second half of 2023, announced that it will provide new customers with a long free warranty period of 4 years, the same as the service life of RTO.
The extended warranty period by Emission Control Standard Co., Ltd. is possible due to the high technical level of its power supply device, which supplies a wide energy field and high electrical energy uniformly and stably 24 hours a day, based on the company’s original patent.
Emission Control Standard Co., Ltd., which possesses original electrolysis technology for harmful gases, has been operating a continuously running air pollution prevention facility (deodorizer) applying gas electrolysis technology that removes odors and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), air pollutants generated from local government environmental infrastructure and industrial processes, 24 hours a day since March.
The company’s equipment, which cuts (electron blade) and decomposes/removes odor gas molecular bonds using electrical energy, operates solely on electricity, so it does not produce secondary pollutants such as wastewater, CO2, or NOx caused by chemical scrubbing towers or combustion incineration facilities (RTO, RCO, etc.) that use chemicals or fuels. Furthermore, it is gaining attention as equipment that does not require such treatment facilities or costs.
In particular, this eco-friendly carbon-neutral technology, which does not use chemicals, fuels, activated carbon, or catalysts, offers economic efficiency at about one-tenth the operating cost of RTO due to its high efficiency and low power consumption, approximately twice the lifespan compared to RTO, and the advantage of being installable in narrow spaces and ceilings without the legal setback distance required for RTO.
Another major feature of Emission Control Standard Co., Ltd.’s odor reduction technology is that it decomposes and eliminates odor molecular bond structures by cutting them with high-voltage electrical energy, meaning it reduces odor molecules by “electron blade,” as if cutting odor molecular bonds with a blade made of electrical energy.
On the other hand, similar electro-technology methods for odor reduction use electrostatic dust collection or thermal decomposition by generating high temperatures with electricity, which fundamentally have problems such as difficulty in reducing gaseous substances, high energy consumption, and challenges in large-capacity odor reduction.
