Korea Gas Corporation (President Choi Yeon-hye) announced on the 18th that President Choi Yeon-hye has joined the Ministry of Environment's relay campaign, the ‘Single-Use Products Zero Challenge,’ which aims to protect the environment by reducing the use of single-use products in daily life.
This challenge is designed to save resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by practicing the use of reusable products. Participants post photos or videos on social networking services (SNS) showing the hand gestures for ‘1’ and ‘0,’ symbolizing ‘not using single-use products,’ and then nominate the next participant.

As a clean energy company, Korea Gas Corporation actively responds to the national carbon neutrality policy and has been encouraging all employees to actively reduce carbon emissions in daily life to create a clean environment for future generations.
Korea Gas Corporation uses reusable containers in its in-house caf? and promotes a paperless culture during meetings by utilizing tablet PCs. Employees also use rainwater removers instead of plastic umbrella covers, making every effort to prevent the waste of valuable resources.
President Choi Yeon-hye of Korea Gas Corporation stated, “To reduce the use of single-use products, it is important to build consensus among members of society and encourage participation in everyday life,” adding, “The company will also actively participate in creating a clean planet by reducing the use of single-use cups and PET bottles and making the use of reusable cups a daily habit.”
Previously nominated by Kim Dong-seop, President of Korea National Oil Corporation, President Choi Yeon-hye participated in the challenge and passed the baton by nominating Han Moon-hee, President of Korea Railroad Corporation, as the next participant.
