According to Aekyung Industry on the 18th, CEO Im joined the challenge after being nominated by Na Kyungsoo, CEO of SK Geocentric. He nominated Kim Ibae, CEO of Jeju Air, and Lee Jonghwa, CEO of Colors & Effects, as the next challengers.

Aekyung Industry encourages its employees to engage in environmentally friendly activities to practice ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) in daily life. Voluntary initiatives include earning green points for using tumblers at the in-house cafe and reducing carbon emissions by deleting unnecessary emails.

Aekyung Industry plans to designate the 10th of every month as 'Aetum Day (Aejijungji Tumbler Day)' to promote the reduction of single-use items.

Additionally, Aekyung Industry is pursuing sustainable product design by expanding eco-friendly packaging, reducing plastic usage, and developing environmentally friendly manufacturing technologies. They have launched products applying PCR PET (Post Consumer Recycled PET) containers made from collected and recycled plastics, labels that facilitate easy separation for recycling, and eco-friendly manufacturing technologies that replace synthetic preservatives with natural extracts.
