A right-turn lane has been newly established on Sinnae-yeok-ro in the area of 63-29 Sinnae-dong, Jungnang-gu (District Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi). This is expected to greatly improve traffic inconvenience for vehicles passing through the section.

The intersection in front of Jungnang Public Garage in the area of 63-29 Sinnae-dong, where the construction was carried out, was frequently congested and vehicle entry and exit were inconvenient, making the need for a right-turn lane significant.

During the establishment of the district plan for Sinnae 4 Public Housing District, traffic improvement was discussed several times in meetings among Jungnang-gu, Seoul City, SH Corporation, and the residents' council.

Accordingly, before the full-scale construction of the Sinnae 4 Public Housing Project, the district and Seoul City agreed to resolve traffic inconvenience first by implementing the right-turn lane construction as a 'project outside the housing district.' The construction was carried out by Seoul Metropolitan Government, the executor of the Sinnae 4 Public Housing Project (delegated to Seoul Housing & Communities Corporation).

The construction scale was 170 meters in length and 3.75 meters in width. With the completion of the construction, part of Sinnae-yeok-ro was expanded from the existing 4 lanes to 5 lanes.

Ryu Kyung-gi, Mayor of Jungnang-gu, said, “The newly created right-turn lane is expected to make the traffic environment, which was frequently congested and inconvenient, much more convenient,” and added, “We will continue to fix local inconveniences and do our best to make the city a better place to live.”
