"A Shining Emotion Beyond Limits... Festival of Friendship and Great Harmony"
The '17th Jeollabuk-do Disabled Sports Competition' concluded successfully after three days of intense competition from the 15th to the 17th in Gimje City, with the closing ceremony held at 3 p.m. on the 17th.
This year's event was held under the theme 'Golden Hope Jeollabuk-do, Together in Gimje.'
The honor of overall victory went to Iksan City, with Jeonju City taking second place, Jeongeup City coming in third, followed by Gunsan City, Namwon City, and Gochang County in that order.

The closing ceremony held at the Gimje Indoor Gymnasium began with a 'Competition Highlights' video, followed by the overall awards presentation, and the handover of the competition flag to Sunchang County, the host of the next event.
The competition, which showcased athletes overcoming disabilities and engaging in fair competition, featured over 2,000 participants from 14 cities and counties competing in 19 events.
Governor Kim Kwan-young said, "Despite the heavy rains brought by the autumn monsoon, the event delivered shining moments that transcended limits," adding, "It was a meaningful festival of friendship and great harmony, uniting all Jeollabuk-do residents through sports."
