Gwangju Dong-gu, Free Distribution of Chungjang Friends KakaoTalk Emoticons

Dong-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will start distributing free KakaoTalk emoticons of the new character "Chungjang Friends" from the "20th Nostalgic Chungjang Festival" at 2 p.m. on the 15th.

The "Chungjang Friends" emoticons, distributed to about 25,000 people, consist of a total of 16 types.

The festival promotional content features five characters derived from the first-generation characters "Chungjangi" and "Geumnami" and their pets: ▲ Baby tiger of Mudeungsan, "Sodeoki" ▲ Versatile entertainer baby rabbit, "Chu" ▲ Sky squirrel interested in playing, "Rora" ▲ Polite and honest "Gogo" ▲ Flame that follows Sodeoki well, "Buri".

Residents who want the emoticons can search for "Gwangju Chungjang Festival 2023" on KakaoTalk, add the channel, and download the sent emoticons.

The emoticons can be used for one month from the date of download.

Meanwhile, the Chungjang Festival character "Chungjang Friends" is competing for the grand prize in the finals through the national online voting of the "6th Our Neighborhood Character Awards," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, which started on the 11th.
