Marta Louise (51), the eldest daughter of King Harald V of Norway, will marry her fianc? Durek Verrett (48), a Black shaman famous in Hollywood, USA, next summer.

On the 13th (local time), according to the British BBC broadcast, King Harald V and Queen Sonja Haraldsen stated in a press release, "We are pleased to welcome Verrett as a member of the family" and expressed their anticipation for the wedding.

The wedding is scheduled to take place in Geiranger, a Norwegian village located at the foot of the fjords, which is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Louise and Verrett said, "We are very happy to be able to celebrate our love amidst the beautiful scenery of Geiranger," adding, "It is meaningful to invite our loved ones to a place where a long history and majestic nature come together."

In June last year, Princess Louise got engaged to Verrett, who claims to be a shaman. Verrett, who calls himself the 'spiritual leader of Hollywood,' claims that he died and was resurrected and that he predicted the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks two years before the event.

He also sparked controversy by publishing a book titled Spirit Hacking, which argues, among other things, that people get cancer because they are unhappy.

He also sold medals online that he claimed helped overcome COVID-19. Verrett, who is African American, acknowledges that his beliefs may make some people uncomfortable but insists that the criticism directed at him is rooted in racism.

Princess Louise is also known for her fascination with mysticism and has claimed that she can communicate with angels. She has long been controversial in Norway for her alternative medicine activities, including starting a school that helps people contact angels.

She has been criticized for using her royal title to pursue personal gain. In November last year, the Norwegian royal family announced that Princess Louise would no longer perform official royal duties to focus on her alternative medicine business.

Princess Louise was married to Norwegian author Ari Behn and had three daughters but divorced in 2016. Her younger brother, Crown Prince Haakon, is expected to succeed their father as king.
