Pulmuone Foods announced on the 15th the launch of a new shelf-stable home meal replacement (HMR) pasta product, 'Pulmuone Natural Dried Noodles Durum Wheat Toowoomba Pasta.'

The Durum Wheat Toowoomba Pasta features the application of Pulmuone Natural Dried Noodles' noodle-making expertise, using 'durum wheat,' the flour traditionally used for authentic pasta noodles. Made with Italian durum wheat, it achieves an al dente texture and is shaped into wide fettuccine noodles to pair well with the thick cream sauce.

Additionally, a creamy sauce with a rich and smooth flavor, reminiscent of what you would taste at specialty restaurants, is included as a powdered soup mix made with cheddar cheese and Parmesan cheese. The flavor is enhanced by saut?ed shrimp, mushrooms, garlic, and onions, maximizing umami, while spicy cayenne pepper and crushed pepper add a clean, spicy kick without greasiness.

The product can be quickly prepared in 5 minutes. The convenience lies in boiling the noodles for only 4 minutes, draining the water, and then mixing in the sauce.
