Perspective View of the Underground Parking Lot in the Urban Development Project near Anyang Gwanyang High School
An underground parking lot with 142 spaces will be constructed near Gwanyang High School in Anyang, Gyeonggi Province.
Gyeonggi Housing and Urban Corporation (GH) announced on the 14th that to alleviate road traffic congestion in the urban development project around Gwanyang-dong, Anyang (area 521), a two-story underground parking lot with 142 spaces will be built and is scheduled to be completed in the first half of 2025.
The underground parking lot will have a total floor area of 4,162.25㎡ and has obtained BF preliminary certification (excellent grade) to ensure convenience for transportation-vulnerable individuals.
In particular, seven electric vehicle charging stations will be installed above ground, and flood barriers will be placed at the entrances as part of detailed safety and disaster prevention plans.
Kim Se-yong, president of GH, stated, "Through the construction of this underground parking lot, we will not only resolve nearby traffic congestion but also secure both convenience and public interest by introducing facilities that consider the socially vulnerable and safety, becoming a model public corporation that realizes ESG management."
