Choi Hogwon, Yeongdeungpo-gu Mayor, Attends Yeongdeungpo-gu Disabled Community Sports Festival

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, attended the '2023 Yeongdeungpo-gu Disabled Sports Festival' held at Yeouido Park on the morning of the 12th and encouraged the athletes.

The Disabled Sports Festival was hosted by the Yeongdeungpo-gu Disabled Sports Association, with about 500 participants including athletes, referees, and staff.

People with disabilities, along with their families, volunteers, and activity assistants, were divided into four teams to compete in four events: large ad balloon passing, wave riding, balloon tower building, and flipping blue and red panels.

Choi Ho-gwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, said, "I hope this sports festival becomes an inclusive event where people with and without disabilities break down barriers and enjoy together," adding, "We will continue to show interest and support to revitalize sports activities so that people with disabilities can harmonize and improve their health."
