Gyeonggi Job Foundation Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center Receives Minister of Gender Equality and Family Commendation Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center of Gyeonggi Job Foundation received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Award at the '2023 Career Interruption Prevention Commitment and Saeil Center Meritorious Service Awards Ceremony' held on the 12th at Mapo Central Library in Seoul.

The Gyeonggi Job Foundation-operated Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center received the Minister of Gender Equality and Family Commendation at the '2023 Career Interruption Prevention Pledge and Saeil Center Meritorious Service Awards Ceremony' held on the 12th at Mapo Central Library in Seoul.


The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center, awarded the Minister's Commendation, is a career development-type Saeil Center in the information technology (IT) field, providing one-stop employment support services for women experiencing career interruptions and unemployment.


The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center was selected as an excellent institution, recognized for its institutional expertise and employment achievements among career development-type Saeil Centers. It was acknowledged for its contribution to nurturing local female talent and revitalizing the economy by operating demand-tailored vocational training courses for women and companies, providing IT industry internships, and offering follow-up management.


In addition to the institutional commendation, counselor Kwon Seong-ju, who works at the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center, also received an individual commendation.


Lee Jin-hee, Head of the Southern Business Division of the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, stated, "This commendation awarded to the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center is the result of continuous efforts to support employment and entrepreneurship in the IT field," adding, "We will continue to strive to expand women's employment in related fields through better specialized IT program planning."


Meanwhile, the Women Saeil Centers (Women New Work Centers) provide services such as job counseling, vocational training, employment support, and follow-up management to women experiencing career interruptions due to childcare or housework. Currently, 159 centers operate nationwide.
