A father who was ordered by the court to complete a recidivism prevention education program two years ago for forcibly molesting his biological daughter was arrested for raping his daughter again two years later.
According to the Gwangju Nambu Police on the 12th, a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, was arrested and sent to prosecution on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
Mr. A is accused of raping his minor daughter, Ms. B, at an apartment in Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, around 8:30 p.m. on July 29.
In 2021, Mr. A was ordered by the court to complete a recidivism prevention education program for forcibly molesting Ms. B, and this recent crime was uncovered while Ms. B was receiving counseling at a local Sunflower Center, a sexual violence counseling center.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A admitted to the crime but did not provide any statement regarding his motive or other details.
