On the 12th, Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk announced that it conducted a 'Customized On-site Training for Returning to Farming and Rural Areas' for 30 public officials scheduled to retire on the 11th.
Hosted by the Agricultural and Food Public Officials Training Institute, this training provided explanations and information on policies for returning to farming and rural areas, enabling public officials to settle stably in rural areas after retirement.

The program began with lectures and a tour of the Gochang-gun Residential Agricultural Startup Support Center, followed by listening to experiences of returning to farming and rural life through a visit to a blueberry farm, and a hands-on experience making gochujang at the Togul Fermentation Agricultural Cooperative Corporation.
Participants received advice on successful return to farming and rural settlement, experienced rural life firsthand, and laid the groundwork for stable resettlement in Gochang-gun.
This training provided necessary information and experiences for those hoping to return to farming and rural areas after retirement and motivated consideration of relocating to Gochang.
A county official stated, “Through systematic policies for returning to farming and rural areas, we will do our best to help retirees successfully plan their second life in Gochang, a UNESCO World Heritage city.”
