No Worries About Exercise Even When It Rains... Yongin Jukjeon Sports Park Renovated

Installation of Multi-Exercise Equipment and Rain Shelter

Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 12th that it has recently completed the maintenance of Jukjeon Sports Park in Jukjeon-dong, Suji-gu, and reopened it.

Jukjeon Sports Park is adjacent to Tancheon Stream and the Jukjeon 1-dong Administrative Welfare Center, and was established as a park in 2004.

Through this maintenance, the city replaced the existing individual exercise equipment in the park with complex exercise equipment comparable to an outdoor gym. Additionally, a rain shelter facility was installed to allow exercise even during rain, and the restroom partition walls in the plaza were also refurbished. A special adjustment grant of 500 million KRW was invested in the construction.

A city official stated, “We will continue to improve park facilities to provide a pleasant and safe park environment.”
