Korea Misumi Signs MOU to Strengthen Cooperation with Korea SMC Co., Ltd.

Korea MISUMI (CEO Jinwook Lee) announced that it will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for independent dealerships to strengthen cooperation with Korea SMC Co., Ltd. This cooperation agreement is expected to serve as an important stepping stone to provide customers with even better products and services through a strategic alliance between the two companies.


Korea MISUMI, a specialized machine parts company, is the Korean branch of the MISUMI Group, which supports more than 330,000 manufacturing companies worldwide in the machinery industry. Through this cooperation agreement, the two companies plan to maintain a close relationship to strengthen their position in the local market and offer customers a variety of choices and excellent value.


Korea SMC Co., Ltd., a company specializing in FA automation devices, manufactures and sells pneumatic devices such as air cylinders, solenoid valves, pressure sensors, flow sensors, vacuum devices, air filters, regulators, joints, and fittings, as well as non-pneumatic devices including chillers, ionizers, electric devices, chemical solution devices, high vacuum devices, and detection switches.


The MOU signing, regarded as an important step to strengthen cooperation and establish collaboration methods between the two companies, will enable Korea MISUMI and Korea SMC Co., Ltd. to reinforce their product supply system, offer competitive prices, and focus on improving technical support and customer service. They also plan to enhance customer-centric business strategies and increase competitiveness in the local market.


Jinwook Lee, CEO of Korea MISUMI, stated, "This MOU signing expresses our commitment to strengthening the strategic alliance between Korea MISUMI and Korea SMC Co., Ltd. and providing better value to our customers. Through this cooperation, we will be able to offer customers a wider range of excellent products and services."


Meanwhile, Korea MISUMI, the Korean subsidiary of the MISUMI Group, sells approximately 30 million products from 4,000 brands through digital channels such as e-catalogs and mobile applications. Recently, it launched the cost-effective FA parts lineup ‘MISUMI Economy’ products, surpassing 10,000 cumulative purchasing customers and expanding sales. Since its establishment in 1999, it has consistently prioritized providing customers with time value at manufacturing sites by offering high-quality products, competitive prices, and reliable short delivery times.
