Youth Cinema, Personal Color Diagnosis, 1:1 Tarot Consultation and Psychological Tests, MBC Announcer Special Lecture, etc.
Yeongdeungpo-gu (District Mayor Choi Ho-kwon) announced that it will hold a youth festival called ‘YOUNG WEEK’ at the Seoul Youth Center Yeongdeungpo Orang over two days, from the 15th to the 16th.
Held in celebration of Youth Day (the third Saturday of September every year), this festival will feature various programs and special lectures supporting youth throughout Yeongdeungpo Orang, including Shimporang (rest area) and Moimporang (club space).
First, at 7 p.m. on the 15th, ‘Burning Friday YDP Youth Cinema’ will take place. Starting with light conversations (small talk) sharing hobbies, MBTI, and interests with neighborhood friends, the atmosphere of the festival will be energized and participants’ tension eased through a ‘Balance Game’ where they listen to two other questions and simultaneously choose one. Then, everyone will watch a movie together and share their impressions, creating a valuable time for communication and exchange.
At 1 p.m. on the 16th, a ‘Personal Color Diagnosis’ will be held, where participants will be diagnosed on makeup and coordination methods based on colors and images that suit them, promoting both external beauty and inner self-esteem. Additionally, an ‘Acrylic Craft One-day Class’ will be offered, providing healing and memories by making crafts with peers amid tiring daily life.
Furthermore, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., ‘1:1 Fun Counseling’ will be available to listen directly to youth concerns and find solutions. This includes ‘Tarot and Fortune Counseling’ to find mental stability and healing with cards, ‘TCI Personality Temperament Test’ to understand one’s temperament for youth struggling with employment or interpersonal relationships, and ‘Ask the Employment Worries Counselor’ where young job seekers can share their worries and receive clear answers.
Finally, at 3:30 p.m., MBC announcer Jung Young-han, who has recorded many views with vlogs (V-log) on various topics such as work as the youngest announcer, living alone, and travel, will give a lecture. Holding the title of the youngest male terrestrial broadcaster announcer, he will sincerely share stories about growth, worries, choices, and efforts representing youth.
Choi Ho-kwon, Mayor of Yeongdeungpo-gu, said, “I hope this YOUNG WEEK festival will provide strength and rest to young people living difficult daily lives due to employment, work, and career concerns,” and added, “We will continue to share youth concerns together and support their dreams through various programs and communication channels.”
