Gurye-gun, Guryehagsa Early Admission for Dormitory Residents

Current Students of Universities and Graduate Schools in Seoul Metropolitan Area

Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that it is conducting a rolling recruitment for residents of Guryehaksa Dormitory.

The application period is until September 13, and the number of recruits is 6. Eligibility requires applicants to be enrolled students at universities or graduate schools located in Seoul or the metropolitan area, and their guardians must have their resident registration in Gurye-gun as of the dormitory resident selection announcement date.

Students wishing to apply can fill out the application form and submit it to the Eup/Myeon office or the Lifelong Education Division of Gurye-gun Office.

Both in-person and mail submissions are accepted. The county will select residents by evaluating applicants' academic performance and living conditions.

A county official said, "We are doing our best to provide academic convenience and a stable home for dormitory students, and we hope for much interest and applications for the rolling recruitment of Guryehaksa residents."

In 2020, the county purchased a seven-story building located in Daerim-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, to use as Guryehaksa Dormitory. The county operates 34 single-room dormitory units, each designed as a one-person studio, fully equipped with home appliances and furniture so that students can focus solely on their studies.
