Fashion platform W Concept is launching specialized fashion sections and strengthening category-specific recommendation services tailored to the tastes of customers in their 20s and 30s. Considering recent changes in fashion trends, the platform plans to present high-demand categories in the form of specialized sections to simultaneously enhance customer shopping convenience and vertical competitiveness.
On the 11th, W Concept announced that it has selected three strategic categories with high growth potential?Casual, Global, and Luxury?and will introduce them as specialized sections. Each section will offer news on new brand entries by category, major promotions, original content, and curation services.
The Casual category saw a 30% increase in sales in the first half of this year compared to the same period last year, as fashion spaces emphasizing individual personality have expanded post-endemic. Considering the growing demand for casual wear, the ‘Casual Section’ will showcase approximately 65,000 products including sweatshirts and T-shirts, and will also provide product recommendations aligned with trending keywords.
The Global section gathers global brands such as Nike, Salomon, and UGG, featuring popular representative brands on W Concept. It enhances customer shopping convenience by offering everything from exclusive releases of unique collaboration products to a service that allows customers to browse popular items like sneakers and boots all in one place. The Luxury section focuses on newly curated luxury brands by W Concept, including Ganni, Dragon Diffusion, and Vivienne Westwood.
A W Concept representative stated, “We have launched specialized sections for three high-growth categories to improve customer shopping convenience. Going forward, we will continue to enhance vertical competitiveness by providing various updates such as early releases of new products and new brand entries within these sections.”
