President Yoon Suk-yeol met with U.S. President Joe Biden in the leaders' lounge before the start of the G20 summit held in New Delhi, India, on the 9th, and had a cordial conversation, White House spokesperson Lee Do-woon revealed in a written briefing.
President Yoon expressed to President Biden, "Thank you for the hospitality at Camp David last month," adding, "We have been discussing on various occasions how trilateral cooperation among Korea, the U.S., and Japan will contribute to global freedom, peace, and prosperity."
In response, President Biden said, "I also appreciate it," and added, "The recent Camp David meeting was very successful, and it was especially rewarding to have ample time for the three leaders to engage in candid and intimate dialogue in a space where we could speak openly."
