Gurye-gun and Korea National University of Arts Exchange Performance 'Autumn Sky' Held

Gurye-gun and Korea National University of Arts Hold Music Concert

Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that the 2nd Gurye-gun-Korea National University of Arts Exchange Music Concert ‘Autumn Sky’ will be held on the 16th at 4 p.m. at the outdoor stage of Seosicheon Sports Park.

This performance is being promoted after signing the “Mutual Business Agreement between Gurye-gun and Korea National University of Arts” in September last year to overcome the weak cultural infrastructure in culturally underserved areas and revitalize local culture.

This year’s performance program features the wind ensemble ‘Knuabras Ensemble,’ the mixed vocal group ‘Lieto Klang,’ and the youth pungmul troupe ‘Jieum,’ all composed of young artists who graduated from Korea National University of Arts.

Held ahead of Chuseok, this concert is expected to provide cultural enjoyment opportunities to the residents who have had relatively fewer chances for cultural activities compared to urban areas, and to be a stage that brings out excitement and joy together.

Meanwhile, Kim Soon-ho, the mayor of Gurye-gun, said, “I hope the young energy of the current students and graduates of Korea National University of Arts will offer the residents a unique impression and joy, and that everyone will have a happy time enjoying the beauty of early autumn.”
