"Devilizing the Opposing Camp Ultimately Results in Nothing More Than Factional Conflict"
As suspicions of a false interview involving former Press Union Chairman Shin Hak-rim and Kim Man-bae surfaced, and NewsTapa, which reported the issue, posted an apology, Lee Won-wook of the Democratic Party of Korea pointed out the progressive camp's 'naeronambul (double standards: "If I do it, it's romance; if others do it, it's an affair"),' saying "the media is better than the Democratic Party."
On the 7th, Lee posted on his social media, "The statement that former Press Union Chairman Shin received 150 million won from book sales, the statement that he did not think it would be problematic, and the statement that he did not consider it a solicitation embarrass me," adding, "The naeronambul of the progressive camp is causing politics to regress."

He also criticized the Democratic Party, which belongs to the progressive camp, for lacking 'reflection,' thus failing to gain public sympathy. He said, "Seeing NewsTapa's apology, I still think the media is better than the Democratic Party," and added, "I understand Representative Lee Jae-myung's hunger strike, but the public does not sympathize."
He continued, "Although the issue may have been preempted, it has not gained public support. Without reflection from the Democratic Party, demonizing the opposing camp only results in factional fighting," and said, "They must reflect deeply. For the legacy created by the Democratic Party to truly serve the lives of the people, reflection must come first."
