KG Mobility announced on the 6th that it has opened a new Metropolitan Service Center in Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province. Previously, the center located in Guro, Seoul was relocated, and a completion ceremony was held on the 5th.
The event was attended by KG Mobility Chairman Kwak Jae-seon, KG Mobility CEO Jung Yong-won, Union Chairman Seon Mok-rae, representatives of partner service networks, and other guests. Ha Eun-ho, Mayor of Gunpo, and Lee Hak-young, a member of the National Assembly, also attended and toured the facility together.
Chairman Kwak Jae-seon said, "With this center, we will provide differentiated services to customers in Seoul and the metropolitan area to grow into a better company." Assemblyman Lee Hak-young stated, "I hope the Metropolitan Service Center will serve as KG Mobility’s service control tower and become a global hub for advancing KG Mobility."
The newly opened Metropolitan Service Center has a total floor area of approximately 4,000 pyeong, consisting of five floors: three floors including reception and workshop areas, and two floors of office facilities. It can service more than 16,000 vehicles annually. The company operates a service network of over 300 locations, including two directly managed service centers, 42 maintenance offices, 11 maintenance centers, and 258 Service Plazas.
