Yeongju City, Gyeongbuk Province (Mayor Park Nam-seo) will additionally recruit candidates for the '2023 Vacant House Maintenance Project' from the 7th to the 22nd.
The vacant house maintenance project is being promoted to prevent safety accidents such as aesthetic deterioration, collapse, and fire caused by long-term unoccupied vacant houses, as well as to improve the residential environment.
The maintenance targets are neglected vacant houses that have not been occupied for more than one year, and demolition costs ranging from 1.2 million to 1.5 million KRW per building unit area will be supported depending on the total floor area. In the case of slate roofs, a separate application can be made for the slate disposal support project.
The selection criteria prioritize buildings at risk of collapse, severely deteriorated buildings, and those linked to the slate disposal project, and buildings demolished arbitrarily before the selection of candidates are excluded.
