Onestore announced that CEO Jeon Dong-jin participated in the ‘Single-Use Product Zero Challenge’ on the 6th.
The ‘Single-Use Product Zero Challenge’ is a relay campaign launched by the Ministry of Environment in February to raise social awareness about reducing single-use products and to encourage the use of reusable products. Participants in the challenge make hand gestures representing the numbers 1 and 0, symbolizing their promise to reduce single-use product usage in daily life, and then nominate the next participant. Currently, many public institutions, companies, and organizations are taking part.

Jeon Dong-jin, CEO of Onestore, joined the campaign after being nominated by Ha Hyung-il and Ahn Jung-eun, CEOs of 11st. He nominated Hwang Seong-ik, chairman of the Korea Mobile Game Association, and Ma Guk-seong, CEO of IGAWorks, as the next participants in the relay.
Onestore is actively incorporating environmentally conscious elements throughout its business operations. It is gradually replacing physical servers, which consume large amounts of electrical energy, with cloud servers to help reduce carbon emissions. Additionally, it is making efforts to reduce carbon emissions generated during service use by selling online cards in barcode form instead of physical ‘Onestore Gift Cards.’
The company also supports employees in practicing zero waste within the workplace. All work is basically conducted paperless, and materials that require printing are replaced by screen sharing or email distribution. Furthermore, the use of reusable cups is mandatory at the in-house caf? to minimize the use of disposable cups.
CEO Jeon Dong-jin stated, “Onestore, which has grown in harmony with the industry, is also paying great attention to coexistence with the increasingly important environment,” adding, “I strongly sympathize with the purpose of the Ministry of Environment’s campaign and participated in the challenge. Taking this opportunity, we will review and further strengthen our ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) activities.”
