SPC Samlip announced on the 5th that it has launched 10 types of gift sets under the well-made deli meat brand ‘Greekswein’ in celebration of the upcoming Chuseok holiday.
The Greekswein Chuseok gift sets are diversified into Greekswein canned ham sets (2 types), animal welfare canned ham sets (3 types), and Greekswein mixed sets (5 types).
Additionally, as consumers who pursue value consumption have recently increased, the use of animal welfare ingredients and eco-friendly packaging has been expanded.
The gift sets reflect various consumer preferences, featuring ‘ham made from animal welfare pigs’ raised healthily on animal welfare certified farms, and ‘light canned ham made with animal welfare’ with 36% reduced salt content.
In particular, the Animal Welfare Light Canned Ham Set No. 3 uses paper packaging made from 100% recycled paper for the case and handle strap, and the package uses soybean oil ink to add an eco-friendly meaning.
Other gift sets include those composed of Greekswein canned ham made from domestically sourced chilled pork aged at low temperatures to retain juiciness, and mixed gift sets where Greekswein canned ham is combined with various ingredients such as canola oil, soy sauce, sea salt, sesame oil, apple vinegar, and starch syrup.
