Dongdaemun-gu Holds Meeting with Maintenance Project Implementers and Resident Representatives

Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) held a "2023 Meeting with Redevelopment Project Implementers and Resident Representatives" on the afternoon of the 4th at the district office's planning situation room.

This meeting was organized to provide an opportunity for communication between the district and the redevelopment project implementers and resident representatives, aiming to establish an organic cooperation system going forward.

On this day, Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, along with 35 participants including local redevelopment project implementers, union heads, and promotion committee chairs, took part in a session titled "Sharing Opinions on Redevelopment Projects with the District Mayor," during which both public and private sectors listened to each other's difficulties and exchanged views.

Following this, information was shared regarding changes in urban redevelopment laws and ordinance amendments compared to before, as well as key initiatives promoted by the district such as ▲providing video services for major construction work types ▲operating a redevelopment project legal consultation center.

The local redevelopment project implementers and resident representatives who attended expressed high satisfaction and positive responses to the opportunity to engage in dialogue. Accordingly, the district plans to continuously create opportunities for communication and maintain an organic relationship.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, stated, "It was a meaningful time to listen to various opinions related to redevelopment projects and to understand each other's positions," adding, "The district will do its best to ensure that redevelopment and reconstruction projects proceed more transparently and safely."
