Preventing Damage to Local Fishermen Using Muan Seafood

Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim San) held a campaign on the 4th to promote the safety of seafood and stimulate consumption, targeting its employees.

According to the county on the 4th, the campaign was attended by Governor Kim San, Muan County Council Chairman Kim Kyung-hyun, Vice Chairman Lim Dong-hyun, Councilors Lee Ho-sung, Kim Bong-seong, Lim Yoon-taek, and Lim Hyun-soo.

This campaign was conducted to alleviate residents' concerns caused by contaminated water discharge, minimize the damage to fishermen due to reduced seafood consumption, and revitalize seafood consumption.

Governor Kim San urged, "For the upcoming Chuseok holiday gifts, please use Muan seafood and lead the way in preventing damage to our fishermen as public officials of Muan-gun," adding, "We will focus on cracking down on false or missing origin labels of seafood in traditional markets, Nakji Alley, and other places in preparation for the Chuseok holiday to ensure the supply of safe seafood."
