Strengthening Fashion Brands like ARMY and Maison Kitsun?
Cosmetics Stores Focused on Popular Brands Among Young Consumers

Lotte Duty Free announced on the 3rd that it will strengthen its cosmetics and fashion brands following China's approval of group tourist visas to Korea.

On the 1st, Lotte Department Store became the first in the domestic duty-free industry to open 'Ami' and 'Maison Kitsun?' stores at its Myeongdong main branch. The French fashion brands Ami and Maison Kitsun? are considered "new luxury" brands among people in their 20s and 30s. To commemorate the store openings, Lotte Duty Free is offering Ami hats and wallets on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the purchase amount.

Maison Kitsun? uses a fox character as its brand symbol and offers clothing, bags, and fashion items. Lotte Duty Free is giving away seven types of Maison Kitsun? fox character stickers on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who purchase Maison Kitsun? products. Customers who spend over $500 and $1,000 will receive Maison Kitsun? tote bags and card wallets worth approximately 200,000 KRW, respectively, also on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, Lotte Duty Free has diversified its cosmetics brands. Starting with the domestic beauty brand 'Nonfiction,' which opened at the Myeongdong main branch in January, young-popular beauty brands such as 'Simmy Haze Beauty,' which opened exclusively on the 11th floor of the Myeongdong main branch in the domestic duty-free industry, have been continuously introduced. Simmy Haze Beauty is a makeup brand launched in 2021 by Simmy and Haze, twin sisters and famous Hollywood influencers in the U.S., and is known domestically for being used by BLACKPINK's Jennie.

Furthermore, the German luxury brand 'Augustinus Bader,' famous for its skin regeneration effects, and the 800-year-old Italian premium cosmetic brand 'Santa Maria Novella,' which had been sold on Lotte Internet Duty Free, have also opened on the 12th floor of the Myeongdong main branch. Santa Maria Novella plans to offer samples such as Idralia cream and Rosagadenia perfume depending on the purchased products.

A Lotte Duty Free official stated, "We have strengthened our brand lineup to meet customer demands in response to rapidly changing fashion and beauty trends. Especially with the holidays from late September to early October, we expect an increase in duty-free store usage by both domestic and foreign customers, and we will focus on securing popular products."
