Gokseong-gun, Recruiting Participants for Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project

Remodeling, Facility Improvements, and Equipment Purchase Costs

Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Lee Sang-cheol) announced that applications for the 2nd Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project of 2023 will be accepted until the 7th.

The Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project is a subsidy program aimed at improving the management conditions of small business owners in the area, including facilities.

Support is provided for facility improvements including interior remodeling of stores and the purchase of necessary machinery and equipment.

Eligible businesses can receive up to 70% of the total project cost, with a maximum limit of 7 million KRW.

However, for machinery and equipment, support is limited to a maximum of 2 million KRW.

Applicants must be small business owners who have operated a business registered in Gokseong-gun for more than six months as of the announcement date.

Selection is prioritized based on national and local tax payment records, business operation period, and other criteria.

Businesses that have received the same or similar support within the last five years, those unable to provide sales proof from the previous year, those with tax arrears, or those currently closed or suspended are excluded from support.

Applications can be submitted by visiting the town or township office where the business is located by the 7th, along with the application form and related documents.

A county official stated, “We hope this will reduce the management burden on local small business owners and help strengthen their business competitiveness. We plan to continue discovering and implementing various support projects to protect small business owners and revitalize the local economy.”

In addition to the Small Business Management Environment Improvement Project, Gokseong-gun is promoting various projects such as Good Store and Star Store support, with applications to be accepted after separate announcements.
