Wemix Unveils 'Unagi,' a Blockchain Ecosystem Connected as One

The WEMIX Foundation unveiled the initiative 'Unagi (Unbound Networking & Accelerating Growth Initiative)' for an innovative omni-chain network on the 1st.

Unagi breaks down the boundaries between different blockchains through omni-chain technology. Centered on the blockchain mainnet WEMIX 3.0, it connects various blockchains and dApps into one, creating a massive ecosystem. More users can easily and conveniently experience blockchain services.

Unagi operates through the omni-chain messaging protocol 'Unagi X,' which can verify and transmit data between heterogeneous chains and on-off chain in a decentralized manner. The 'Unagi Wallet,' to be launched later this month, will allow users to access various omni-chain services of Unagi.

The Unagi Wallet is an integrated blockchain wallet that lets users view and manage assets held across multiple chains in one place. It initially supports eight chains?WEMIX 3.0, Arbitrum, Avalanche, BNB, Ethereum, Kroma, Optimism, and Polygon?as well as the blockchain gaming platform 'WEMIX Play' ecosystem. The supported networks will continue to expand.

Services such as 'Unagi Scan,' which allows users to view omni-chain transaction histories at a glance based on Meta Transaction and Meta Hash, and 'Unagi Swap,' which offers optimized cross-chain transactions at the lowest possible cost, are provided through Unagi and the Unagi Wallet.
