The donation, made on the 31st of last month, will be used through the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to cover initial costs such as tuition, employment, and housing for low-income children as they enter society.
CEO Jang Han-gum said, “We decided to donate the profits earned in Miryang for the children living in Miryang. We plan to continue practicing sharing and will strive for mutual growth with the local community.”
Mayor Park Il-ho said, “We sincerely thank Jangsabu Chinese Restaurant for teaching children about sharing, which will bring hope and support to the growing children.”
Meanwhile, since April last year, Jangsabu Miryang Main Branch has signed a neighborhood network agreement with the Miryang Office of Education as part of the ‘Miryang Love (愛)’ education welfare safety net project, providing free delivery meals (Chinese cuisine) every week to five children in families located in welfare blind spots.
