KT M Mobile Launches Wavve Partnership Plan... Unlimited OTT Viewing

KT M mobile announced on the 1st that it has launched two partnership plans offering free access to the online video service (OTT) 'Wavve' and unlimited data.

Wavve is a leading domestic OTT service where users can enjoy over 300,000 titles including movies and dramas. It provides content curation optimized to individual tastes through vast content data and an advanced personalized recommendation engine.

The newly launched Wavve plans are "Moduda Mamkkeot 11GB+ (Wavve Basic)" (36,900 KRW) and "Moduda Mamkkeot 100GB+ (Wavve Basic)" (41,900 KRW). Both support unlimited voice calls and texts. Even after the basic data is used up, users can continue to use data at speeds ranging from 3Mbps to a maximum of 5Mbps without additional charges, depending on the plan. The 3Mbps speed allows free viewing of Wavve content.

A KT M mobile product official said, “The OTT plans launched last year had about 65% of subscribers from the MZ generation, showing steady popularity among people in their 20s and 30s, so we expect the Wavve plans to also attract interest from the MZ generation.”

Subscribers to these plans receive a Wavve Basic subscription worth 7,900 KRW every month. They can watch unlimited on-demand videos (VOD) of over 300,000 titles, more than 100 live channels, and about 6,000 movies on mobile and PC. Popular Wavve original contents such as Weak Hero, National Investigation Headquarters, and Bloody Game, as well as exclusive animations and overseas series provided by Wavve, can be freely viewed.
