Hamyang-gun and Haengbok Center Cooperative Sign Business Agreement

Prepared to Revitalize the Distribution of Agricultural Specialty Products

Hamyang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, signed a business agreement with the Happiness Centered Consumer Cooperative (hereinafter referred to as ‘Happiness Centered Coop’) on the 31st of last month at the Hamyang-gun Office large conference room to expand the distribution of agricultural specialty products.

At the signing ceremony, County Governor Jin Byeong-yeong, Hamyang County Council Chairman Park Yong-woon, Happiness Centered Coop Federation President An In-suk, and 13 local producer members (including Dorim Agricultural Products, Hamyang Youth Distribution, and Unlim Farm) attended and signed the agreement.

This business agreement includes efforts to mutually support the revitalization of distribution of agricultural specialty products and processed agricultural foods produced in Hamyang-gun, and states that each institution will actively cooperate through mutual consultation.

The Happiness Centered Coop is an organization that contributes to improving the living culture, including supporting joint purchasing projects and the consumer life of member co-ops and members, based on the ideals of harmony, cooperation, and equality, and operates stores in 19 locations including Seoul and Gyeonggi Province.

Governor Jin said, “I am pleased that this business agreement will help secure stable sales channels for farmers,” and added, “We will spare no effort to provide multifaceted support so that we can continuously coexist and cooperate with the Happiness Centered Coop to contribute to increasing farmers’ income.”

An In-suk, President of the Happiness Centered Coop Federation, said, “Through this business agreement, we will do our best to expand the stable supply and sales channels of Hamyang-gun’s agricultural specialty products and grow together with our Happiness Centered Coop members.”
