Yeongdeok Cultural Tourism Foundation Youth Taste Discovery Group 'Deokming Out' Heads to Busan!

The Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation's 2023 Yeongdeok Youth Taste Exploration Group, ‘Deokmingout,’ will depart for Busan on September 9th for their second taste exploration trip.

Yeongdeok Cultural Tourism Foundation Youth Taste Discovery Group 'Deokming Out' Heads to Busan!

‘Deokmingout’ is a project conducted as part of the 2023 Basic Unit Living Culture Expansion Support Project ‘Everyone’s Living Culture,’ sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Regional Culture Promotion Agency.


The purpose of ‘Deokmingout,’ the youth taste exploration group from Yeongdeok, is to visit other cities to experience and observe fields that are difficult to access locally, thereby enhancing their cultural and artistic sensitivity, discovering their own tastes and talents, and broadening their perspectives for career planning.


This program’s second taste exploration trip will head to Busan to broaden their perspective on design by visiting three locations.


The first is the ‘Busan Illustration Fair,’ a representative exhibition in the Busan/Gyeongsang region’s illustration field, where participants can meet various illustrators and numerous companies, and have the opportunity to engage in design-related experiences.


At the second location, participants will take part in a product designer job experience education, where they will design their own keyrings using 3D programs and printers, and also engage in career-linked experiences related to product design.


The third stop is a visit to ‘Museum One,’ a media-specialized contemporary art museum, where participants will view a variety of works including media art, video, installation, painting, sculpture, and ceramics, providing an opportunity to expand their interest and understanding of contemporary art.


This exploration trip is entirely free of charge, covering exhibition admission fees, meals, and experience fees, with a total of 17 youths participating.


So far this year, the Yeongdeok Youth Taste Exploration Group ‘Deokmingout’ has conducted one taste exploration trip and one taste lecture. The first exploration trip visited the Gwangju Museum of Art during the Gwangju Biennale, and the taste lecture was given by Park Junsang, a current advertising director (Topbap Film), who introduced careers related to advertising production.


A representative from the Yeongdeok Culture and Tourism Foundation stated, “We will continue to support Yeongdeok youths in discovering hidden tastes and finding careers suited to them by providing more diverse taste lectures and exploration trips, allowing them to directly experience and feel a broader world.”
