Asiana Airlines Employees Participate in Volunteer Activities for Abandoned Dogs

Eleven employees of Asiana Airlines participated in volunteer work on the 30th at a facility called ‘Goyugeo (Goyang City Stray Animal Street Adoption Campaign) Anyband’ located in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province. They cleaned the living spaces and kennels of the shelter dogs, performed weeding, and repaired deteriorated facilities. They also spent time interacting directly with the shelter dogs to facilitate their adoption.

The stray animal volunteer activity began after Asiana Airlines recruited 91 participants through the company bulletin board in July. This is the fourth time the activity has been held. The company regularly supports with pet food, and employees visit the adoption center twice a month to volunteer. Moving forward, the company plans to raise awareness about stray animals among its employees and conduct awareness campaigns targeting customers.
