The CCTV footage released by Lee showed the motorcycle driver running a red light. Subsequently, on a yellow dashed line where lane changes are temporarily allowed, a vehicle crossed the center line attempting to overtake and collided with an oncoming motorcycle.

At that moment, the motorcycle fell, and the vehicle involved left the scene. The video included an explanation stating, "The motorcycle driver claimed the sound of the accident was loud and that people around were shocked, but the CCTV shows no startled people; everyone is moving naturally."

Lee Geun: "I Did Not Recognize the Situation as a Traffic Accident at the Time"
"Not a Hit-and-Run, I'm Innocent" Lee Geun Releases CCTV Footage According to recent legal circles, Lee Geun, a former Navy Special Warfare Unit (UDT/SEAL) captain and YouTuber who was sentenced to probation in the first trial for unauthorized entry into war-torn Ukraine and hit-and-run charges, has appealed the first trial verdict.

Lee, who was in the vehicle at the time, asserted that he did not perceive the situation as a traffic accident.

He said that the collision sensor on his vehicle’s black box did not activate and stated, "The motorcycle driver claimed to have injured his head and buttocks at the hospital, but the CCTV shows no impact to the head or buttocks. That testimony was false."

He also questioned the credibility of a CU delivery worker nearby at the time, who testified that "the motorcycle driver was lying on the ground like a corpse" and that Captain Lee appeared to be driving under the influence.

Lee disclosed the real name of the motorcycle driver in the edited video and explained, "There was no trace of contact (no scratches) between the vehicle and the motorcycle, but the motorcycle driver claimed that the car tire ran over his instep. The CCTV does not show the car tire running over the person’s instep. The medical certificate from the hospital on the day showed no fractures. Three days later, another hospital issued a diagnosis of head pain, bruises on the buttocks, and a fractured toe, which was submitted."

He added, "Initially, the motorcycle driver falsely claimed he 'avoided the car,' but under the lawyer’s rebuttal based on the CCTV footage, he repeatedly testified that he 'thought about avoiding it.' I hope people watch the clear evidence, not false testimony or fake reports, and make their own judgment."

However, some netizens who saw the video pointed out Lee’s wrong-way driving. Another netizen wrote, "Lee Geun is 100% at fault for wrong-way driving. The motorcycle driver was just staring in disbelief. Also, injuries can appear a few days later."
