BNK Gyeongnam Bank Holds 'Small Business Hope Dream Academy 1st Graduation Ceremony'

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 29th that it held the ‘BNK Gyeongnam Bank Small Business Hope Dream Academy 1st Graduation Ceremony.’

The BNK Gyeongnam Bank Small Business Hope Dream Academy is the first long-term education program established by a regional bank to promote mutual growth with local small business owners and self-employed individuals, providing comprehensive customized education.

The first cohort of students attended classes for four weeks starting August 7, covering ▲basic tax, commercial area analysis, and commercial lease protection law necessary for startups ▲labor, legal, and profit and loss management for business operations ▲marketing trends, online marketing theory and practice for business success ▲and other topics such as crisis management and finance.

Park Tae-young, a first cohort student who operates Changdong Chogajip restaurant (Masan Happo-gu, Changwon City), said, “It was meaningful to learn professional content such as tax, law, labor, and marketing that I usually do not have easy access to. It seems it will be very helpful for running my business. I would also actively recommend it to acquaintances.”

Park Sang-ho, Executive Director of the Credit Sales Headquarters, said, “I applaud the passion of the first cohort students who actively participated despite the hot summer weather. I hope the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Academy program will be of some help in business operations and future startups.”

On August 21, a short-term education program called the ‘Small Business Hope Dream Academy Course,’ consisting of SNS marketing theory and practice, was also conducted, producing the first graduates.

Meanwhile, BNK Gyeongnam Bank plans to operate the Small Business Hope Dream Academy and Academy courses once per quarter, four times a year, and continuously accepts and supports management consulting requests to solve small business owners’ difficulties through visits.
