On Tuesday the 29th, heavy rain is expected mainly in the central regions. The heat is also expected to ease along with the rain.
In the Seoul metropolitan area and Gangwon Yeongseo region, heavy rain of around 30mm per hour is expected from the morning until nighttime on the 29th.
The expected rainfall over the three days from the 28th to the 30th is 30 to 80mm in the Seoul metropolitan area, West Sea 5 Islands, Gangwon Yeongseo, Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam, Chungbuk, and Jeonbuk; 20 to 60mm in Gangwon Yeongdong, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo. During the same period, 50 to 120mm of rain is forecasted in Gwangju, Jeonnam, Daegu, Gyeongbuk, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, and 30 to 100mm in Jeju Island.
In areas where rain falls, there may be gusts of wind along with thunder and lightning, so caution is advised to prevent safety accidents.
Also, since there will be significant differences in rainfall intensity and amount depending on the region, the Korea Meteorological Administration asks to check the latest weather information.

Fine dust levels will be 'Good' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion and the influence of precipitation.
Sea waves will be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.
Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 1.0 to 4.0 meters in the East Sea, 1.5 to 4.0 meters in the West Sea, and 1.0 to 3.0 meters in the South Sea.
