The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 28th that it held the ‘2023 August End Retired Teachers Award Ceremony’ in the main conference room of the headquarters.

The recipients of this government award include 395 teachers from kindergarten, elementary, and secondary education, consisting of ▲43 recipients of the Hwangjo Geunjeong Medal ▲52 recipients of the Hongjo Geunjeong Medal ▲90 recipients of the Nokjo Geunjeong Medal ▲157 recipients of the Okjo Geunjeong Medal ▲41 recipients of the Geunjeong Medal ▲7 recipients of the Presidential Citation ▲1 recipient of the Prime Minister’s Citation ▲4 recipients of the Minister’s Citation.
Superintendent Kim Dae-jung expressed respect and gratitude for the dedication and efforts of the awardees and their families.
Superintendent Kim congratulated them on the start of the second half of their lives and urged them to contribute their experience and wisdom as senior educators to the great transformation of Jeonnam education.
